Social Responsibility
The Spirit Airlines Charitable Foundation is committed to inspiring positive change in the communities where we live and work. Investments are made in organizations that have a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families, education, the environment, and military veterans through Team Member volunteerism, monetary, and in-kind donations. In addition, we strive to help our environment through our all-Airbus Fit Fleet® which is among the youngest and most fuel-efficient in the United States.
Learning & Development
We are committed to invest in the professional and personal development of our Team Members. We drive our strength-based culture through a continued effort to develop Team Members through their unique talents. By utilizing Gallup’s Clifton Strengths, we help Team Members discover their strengths and those of their team to nourish engagement, productivity, teamwork, and self-awareness throughout the organization. In addition, our corporate university Spirit U offers our Team Members a destination for personalized and modernized leadership and professional development opportunities, in-person and online. We support the development of best in class leaders through Spirit U’s Leadership Series, online Leadership Development Program, and practical communications. Our ultimate goal is to accelerate our Team Members' career development.
