5 Steps To Flight Attendant Success

    Apply:

    Apply and submit your resume online to begin your journey of becoming a Spirit Flight Attendant.

  • 2

    HireVue Interview:

    After reviewing your application, you'll complete a recorded video interview with HireVue. You'll play interactive games and answer questions.

  • 3

    In-Person Interview:

    Then, you'll be invited to an in-person interview held in one of our nine crew base cities. Bring your resume and dress professionally.

  • 4

    Training Program:

    If selected, you'll be invited to our 4-week training program at our Orlando, FL facility.

  • 5

    Graduation:

    After successfully completing the training program, you will officially join our Family as a Spirit Flight Attendant!

Qualifications & Skills You'll Need:

  • At least two (2) years of experience in the Guest Service, Hospitality, and/or Merchandising industry.

  • 21 years of age, 5'0" tall without shoes, and must be able to fasten a four-point jump seat harness without the use of extension devices.

  • Must be able to comply with our piercing policy and no visible tattoos policy.

  • Ability to work flexible
    hours, days, and holidays.

  • Ability to assist Guests with carry-on luggage, lift and open emergency exit doors, push beverage carts, and stand for long periods of time.

  • Ability to work in close quarters with service animals and all snack items.

  • Passport with 6
    months validity.

  • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.

  • Eligible to work in the United States
    without sponsorship.

  • Must be proficient in the English language; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

About Our
Training Program

4 Weeks: During our fast-paced, comprehensive program, trainees like you will learn about our aircraft, inflight procedures, flight routine, first aid, and more.

Hands-On Learning: Experience state-of-the-art equipment such as our Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainer (CEET) at our Training Center facilities.

eLearning: Prior to training day 1, you'll be assigned courses to prepare you for classroom training.

Flight Attendant Certificate: Provided by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Orlando, FL: Held in Orlando, FL, with hotel accommodations provided for the duration of training.

What To Expect

  • A fun, immersive training program, designed so you succeed at becoming a Spirit Flight Attendant.

  • Working closely with peers and instructors during teamwork-based, interactive activities and drills.

  • Experience the Spirit culture and create genuine bonds as you study, practice, engage, and observe the Spirit Way.

  • The rewarding feeling of graduating and flying once you've successfully completed our Flight Attendant training program.
